OUR STORIES, OUR PLACES - 'Knuffle' Inspired Mixed Media for Early Years

Be inspired by popular children’s author/illustrator Mo Willems' "Knuffle Bunny" series. Combine drawing, painting, cartooning and photography to create rich images that will stimulate writing. This playful approach allows students to easily generate several images as they become the central cartoon characters within their photographed settings. Cathy’s workshops are always fun and loaded with good ideas - she will also have great examples of children’s work. (Suitable for K to 4)

Note: Anyone is welcome to attend this workshop but it is geared towards teachers/educators and as such, will contain curriculum content.

Cathy teaches Visual Art in the Winnipeg School Division.
