About the event
Join us at C2 Centre for Craft on Wednesday, August 14th from 1pm to 4pm, and paper artist Kai Bergen, where they will demonstrate how to build & design a theatrical light box made of recycled paper cut outs, lights and wooden frames.
Learn the principles of light and shadow, and create a glowing work of art in a recycled frame from layers of hand cut paper!
Kai Bergen (they/them) is a multidisciplinary artist from Winnipeg. They work in paper, fabric, wire, cardboard, light, and beads in 2 and 3 dimensions.
Tickets for this workshop are $45, but we offer sliding scale prices to anyone for whom price is a barrier (if this is you, send us an email at workshops@artsjunktion.mb.ca or dm!)
