Frayed and Fabulous: Crocheting with Assuma

Join us on Thursday October 27th at our depot for a crocheting workshop led by the fabulous Miss Assuma Gender! Current reigning Mx Queer Winnipeg is known for being a little crafty and kooky, and is here to take you on a journey through the basics of single and double crochet. These stitches can be used to make dish cloths, blankets, scarves, and much more! Once you’ve got your hands on the basics, she’ll walk you through her process of freehand crochet, and how she makes shawls, blankets, rugs, and art. So don’t be shy, come and listen to this queerdo spin a few yarns.
