Inspiring Middle Years Students in Art

In this workshop, Tara will take you through her plans for a complete art unit inspired by the work of Salvador Dali and other Surrealist artists. This is art that is very appealing to Middle Years students. The unit includes outcomes from all parts of the Visual Arts Curriculum Butterfly*. The day will include a variety of hands on activities – drawing, painting, collage, looking at art, etc. If you bring a memory stick, Tara has generously offered to give you the opportunity to download the whole unit – lesson plans, visuals, evaluation strategies, student samples, handouts and more! This is a great way to start the year with an amazing art unit that your students will love.
