Erika is a mixed-media artist based in Winnipeg, whose work explores the playful intersection between repair, absurdity, and sparkle. She plays in most art mediums; collage, costume, textiles, performance, sculpture, jewelry, and clowning. Working with secondhand materials and lustrous textures like disco tiles. Erika creates sculptures and installations that celebrate imagination. She has facilitated community workshops, exhibited in local pop-ups, and artist-run publications. Through her work, Erika hopes to make people feel braver about wearing color, experiencing silliness, and being joyful out loud!
