Kinetic Sculpture with Alex Also

Join us for a brief artist's talk and introduction followed by a lecture featuring examples of kinetic sculpture and home mobiles.

We will discuss the wonder of technical drawings when they are made together and are allowed to dream. From this foundation of inspiration we will draw, dream up our mobiles, and create them together. All materials provided, please bring something special to attach to your mobile if you so wish.

Alex Also is a designer and interdisciplinary artist from Northern New Mexico, whose current practice is based in drawing and airbrush painting. With a professional background in Architecture and Design, they seek out the spaces between things; between theory and practice, between place and displacement. Currently Alex produces works out of a studio space located in the heart of Winnipeg’s exchange district.

Tickets to this workshop are $25, however, if price is a barrier, sliding scale options are available.…
