About the Event
Creating self portraits with students can be challenging. Jenn Jacques has developed methods to help students draw realistic portraits using a variety of tools and techniques. She will show you portrait examples and explain the creative process. The workshop will culminate in creating a memory box. A comprehensive handout will be provided.
Jenn has been a visual arts teacher for several years. As well her years as a classroom teacher help her to understand the daunting challenge of mastering many curricula. She is therefore happy to be providing workshops at SAGE, ArtsJunktion and the National Art Education Association convention, that support teachers in their exploration of the Manitoba visual arts curriculum.
