Join us at the Artsjunktion depot (594 Main St) on Saturday, October 21st from 3pm - 5pm for a Lino cutting and printing workshop with Sunday!

Sunday's practice uses printmaking to convey elements of the natural world and their Indigenous spirituality, where carvings are made and printed on patches and recycled materials. This workshop will begin with an introduction, then participants will use the tools and methods provided to carve and create lino prints, leaving with their own prints!

Sunday (They/Them) is a Two-Spirit Swampy Cree person, originally from Ohpáskowayáhk in Treaty 5 territory (Opaskwayak Cree Nation/The Pas/RM of Kelsey) with family roots in Kinosao Sipi. Sunday now resides in Winnipeg here on Treaty 1 territory while they attend the University of Manitoba with a focus on Indigenous Studies. Sunday is a passionate advocate for 2SLGBTQIIA+, harm reduction and our Indigenous community.

Tickets for this workshop are $45, but we offer sliding scale prices to anyone for whom price is a barrier (if this is you, send us an email or dm!)

ArtsJunktion mb Inc. is a community-based charitable organization committed to redistributing reusable materials available take-what-you-need, pay-what-you-can. We also hold workshops.

Artsjunktion's new location is at ground level. We do not have an automatic front door, so if you require assistance, call our depot to get help with the door. We have a single stalled, non-gendered washroom. Paid parking can be found just north of the depot on Main, as well as a few free spots in front on Main St evenings and weekends.
