About the event
In this workshop, instructor Cameron Cross will show his work and other successful works of contemporary public art from around the world. Participants will be engaged in planning their own work of public art with idea generating, creative sharing activities - that can be translated to the classroom. The main objective of the day is to illustrate the importance of public art to any community. (Suitable for Middle Years and High School)
Cameron Cross is a public artist, education consultant and art for social justice advocate. Cameron spent 25 years in the public education system as a teacher and education consultant with degrees in both Fine Arts and Education, from the University of Manitoba.
