Punch Needle Workshop with Sashira

In this 2.5 hour beginner level punch needle workshop you will learn how to "draw" with yarn! Participants will complete an 8"x8" wall hanging, designed and instructed by Sashira Gafic. No fiber, yarn, or art experience necessary! All materials will be supplied and your ticket covers the price of a beverage of your choice (alchoholic or non alchoholic). Yarn types and colours will vary from the photograph and examples. Bring some cash if you would like to purchase your punch needle to take home after the workshop ($10/each).

Sashira is an artist based in Winnipeg on Treaty One territory. A creative of one form or another all her life, she now primarily works with punch needles, watercolor, and acrylics. She loves the punch needle medium because the process is calming, conducive to "flow state," and the results are warm, cozy, and cheerful.
