About the event

Using animals as a theme, Cori will take you through a series of step-by-step activities guaranteed to help you and your students/clients/community feel more confident about painting. The day will include drawing strategies, colour theory, and painting techniques. Everyone will go home with an original painting on canvas board. Come and join us in our bright, new workshop space.

Instructor Cori Jaye Elston was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She attended the Ontario College of Art and graduated in Graphic Design from Red River College. This year Cori Jaye is thrilled to be exhibiting at the Assiniboine Park Pavilion Gallery. Her show entitled “Mystical Furry Friends” opened May 20th, 2018 and features paintings that follow the daily adventures of the animals in the park.
